About Me:
I have lived in St. Louis since I was 5 years old. I received my early education through the Parkway School District. I graduated Parkway North high school with a 4.0 and played three varsity sports (soccer, basketball, & tennis) all four years. I enjoyed played a variety of positions in each sport, but my most successful positions were goalie (soccer), shooting guard (basketball), and #1 singles (tennis). Through sports I learned the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
I continued my education at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and studied Exercise Science with a focus on Physical Therapy. After two years at Truman State University, I decided to change my major to Education (physical education/health). I transferred to UMSL and after 2 years in the educational field, I began to realize that my true passion in life was fostering our youth's continued desire to learn and explore.
During my years at UMSL, I was a part of two International Honors Societies and one National Honors Society. Listed: (Kappa Delta Pi, Golden Key International Honors Society, & Tau Sigma). In december of 2012, I graduated from UMSL with a Bachelor's of Science in Education and with the highest honors - (Summa Cum Laude).
I live with my wife Kristen and we have an adorable yellow lab that is 2 years old.
I have been teaching Physical Education & Health at Ladue High School since August, 2013. I enjoy working with highly intellectual, motivated, kind, and dedicated students everyday. The positive atmosphere and unwavering support in the Ladue School District is exceptional, and I'm blessed to have landed a spot among such a talented community of educators.
